For the last
three decades, Chandra Group has been serving all the leading blue chip electrical machinery and electrical utilities manufacturing units in India and abroad.
Plan, direct and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.
Major Deliverables:
Set and monitor product standards, examining samples through direct testing reports, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed as well as Liaising among different section head’s.
Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned overtime hours.
Institute employee suggestion or involvement programs.
Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
Ensure complete compliance to
prescribed QMS, GMP’s and 5S processes and also ensuring
that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Job Specifications -
Essential:
7 - 8 years of proven engineering management experience in Metal Industry.
Post-secondary education B.E. (Electrical) required and must be well versed in computers.
Problem solving and resolution skills using formal engineering methodologies.
Ability to learn and remain calm and focused under pressure and able to meet deadlines and deliver result.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills (so as to deal with employees.
