*Assist with Month-end and Quarter-end reporting responsibilities

*Assist in the coordination of the monthly and quarterly investor reporting presentations, board of director’s presentations, executive committee/executive board presentations

*Assist in the preparation and coordination of semi-annual ratings agency presentations

*Review / analysis of finance operations' supporting calculations of reports/schedules underlying applicable presentations

*Reconciliation and completion of documentation around all monthly results

*Analytics around legal carrier reporting and presentations

*Documentation including talking points, fluctuation analysis, and other review around all of the details in the management and investor presentations

*Reporting of P&L

*Review of weekly P&L, explanation of variations from week to week, coordinate with product control

*Preparation of estimated P&L projections for reporting to management

*Reconciliation of P&L and explanations of variances

*Tie out and reconciliation/explanation of all P&L variances from estimate to actual filings (i.e. the general ledger)

*Review of operations deliverables on a monthly basis for accurate submissions by legal entities to the general ledger

*Preparation of corporate bond hedging analysis for reporting to management

*Coordination / preparation of regulatory requests

*Review of alternative investment positions and fluctuation/roll-forward from previous month

*Monitoring and reporting of operational leverage balance sheet, coordination with Finance advisor
to the Board with fluctuation analysis and monitoring/explanation of changes

*Develop Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly projections that are reported to reviewed with management Requirements

*5 - 7 years of relevant work experience *Qualified accountant (CA) or MBA is a plus, but not required

*Strong influencing skills, or experience in working in a matrix environment

*A strong quality focus and a high level of awareness of and commitment to clients' needs

*The ability to meet deadlines and a desire to exceed the expectations of the front office client and the financial control function

*Personality and intellect to establish credibility with the business, combined with the attitude to succeed in this fast-paced environment

Dynamic, high growth potential organization seeks a business minded Chief Financial Officer to take the organization to the next level. We are seeking a high caliber executive who is willing and able to contribute in a strategic and hands-on manner.

Manage a small staff of finance professionals. Hands-on work includes preparing and analyzing financial statements and monthly reporting packages. Budgeting, cost accounting, variance analysis, and creating a timely and accurate closing process.

Tactical duties include creating and implementing strong internal controls, including creating procedures to improve financial policies and practices across the organization. Project work will include re-designing the costing process in order to accurately estimate and report in detail on multi-phased projects with unique costing structures.

Significant amounts of automation and Information Technology knowledge will be necessary to succeed in this position. Proven experience implementing custom and 3rd party ERP systems with complex and diverse modules is required.

Strategic level responsibilities include mergers and acquisitions management, as well as board level, bank, auditor and investor relations. Successful candidate will also be responsible for high level analysis, entity valuation and formal presentation activity. There will be significant amounts of business process and CEO special project work in order to improve the effectiveness of the entire enterprise.
