Accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, and margin analysis.
The cost accountant should be capable to construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
Major Deliverables:
Development & Implementation of Business Metrics, Price Modeling, Cost Analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis, Cost Volume Profit Analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Client Profitability Analysis, Annual Budgeting (Revenue, Capital & Operational / Expenses).
Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.
Should be able to forecast the financial requirements in terms of costing, Transfer Pricing, Resource Allocation & Utilization, Cash & Fund Flow, Breakeven Analysis and Stock Valuation.
Develop new strategy regarding to inventory management and analyze the valuation of Raw Materials & finished Products.
Preparing report on variances analysis and their causes.
Coordinate with Finance
department, Accounts, Production Planning &
Controlling department, Stores & other functional
levels in maintaining an efficient Costing.
Job Specifications -
Essential:
Four-year accounting degree with courses in cost accounting or management accounting.
Knowledge of Current Statutory Requirements (Excise & Taxation), Banking, Insurance, etc. with excellent analysis skills.
3+ years of accounting/finance experience, or 5+ years experience in industrial engineering.
