Supervise production line
operation to deliver production within established norms
of productivity and quality.
Major Deliverables:
Responsible to meet shift production goals.
Responsible to ensure coordination of shift schedule across Sections which include work station assignments, employee rotations, employee training, employee leave, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
Ensure training and coaching of production line employees by Section Heads to make them understand criteria of acceptance and rejection of material.
Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Schedule and conduct shift meetings (review meeting).
Ensures adherence to quality control practices in the Sections.
Ensures continuous improvement projects are taken up and implemented in all Sections.
Ensures adherence to safety and housekeeping practices and standards in the Sections.
Achieving target, machine utilization and productivity by coordinating with Sections.
Assist AGM-Production on
special projects, as needed.
Job Specifications -
Essential:
Educational Qualification: B.E. or Diploma engineering with higher experience.
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures,
and machinery and experience of 7 – 12 years in
manufacturing industry.
Should have influence skills to make sure that the shift runs smoothly and according to plan, dealing with issues and conflicts that arise.
