Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC) consist of a number of enameled rectangular wires (5 - 64 strips) made into an assembly. Each strand is transposed in turn without a twist along with its length, and then covered with layers of insulation paper or film.

Chandra Proteco Ltd CTC is made of OFHC copper. We can supply polyester rope CTC and a specially pre-profiled CTC called VCTC. We can also supply hardened type of CTC (CPR1, CPR2, CPR3) as well Self-bonding CTC which improves mechanical and electrical strength and decreases short circuits.
